Ensnared – Rita Stradling

Okay this is not going to be for kids but young adults could read this. Sexual scenes but could be a weak story for adults. I did enjoy this but I wanted a light read and it’s good just not a gripping storyline and you are going to guess the plot from the beginning but I still loved it. I know mixed messages here but for a light romantic read with a steampunk feel even if it’s set in the future.

Watermarked – Jessica Titone

Not a fan of the cover of this book sadly so probably would not have purchased this story but this is still in the beta stages. Thanks to the author for granting me a copy for review for an unbiased review.

This is a four person point of view story. It has kept me interested in the plot but not a great fan of Flynn but all have a strong personality that keeps you wondering on their secret.

The characters come across as self centred at first but as their story develops they seem to grow on you. The story also separated into two stories with the couples. I was in tears at the telling of the one story. Simply loved it.

There were a few editing errors but the copy I received was a Bata copy so it was to be expected but it was nothing that destroyed the story for me.

I would have happily had paid for this story.

Trials of a Teenage Werevulture – Emily Martha Sorensen

A magical tale that is funny and entertaining for fantasy fans. More for the younger reader but I loved it so older readers can happily enjoy this but don’t expect blood and gore that you would get from an adult type fiction.

A great little story that I would be happy to read more off.

Thanks to the author in letting me read this little gem for an honest review.

Twenty-four potential children of prophecy – Emily Martha Sorensen

Twenty-four potential children of prophecy – Emily Martha Sorensen

Ok rubbish cover but so far a funny fantasy novel aimed at the younger reader.

An enchanting tale of one possible prophet that will do anything to avoid being the chosen one. Funny and a real page turner for young and old.

The Hanging Girl – Eileen Cook

Intriguing story so far of a girl called Skye way over her head in a prank that’s turning sinister… Only part way though but good character and it is written brilliantly so far.

Okay coming up to half way now and I hate to ruin the story but talking about the first twist but I didn’t see it coming. I hope the story continues to keep me fascinated and interested.

This have kept me guessing and I was often way off. Great story.
Forgot to say that this was provided free for an unbiased review on NetGalley.

Skye Thorn has given tarot card readings for years, and now her psychic visions are helping the police find the town’s missing golden girl. It’s no challenge—her readings have always been faked, but this time she has some insider knowledge. The kidnapping was supposed to be easy—no one would get hurt and she’d get the money she needs to start a new life. But a seemingly harmless prank has turned dark, and Skye realizes the people she’s involved with are willing to kill to get what they want and she must discover their true identity before it’s too late.

The Fairy Killers – Eric Slade

This is a short prequel to Havenwood. I have not read that story but I will be putting it on my wish list. I got this short free with Bookfunnel.

I haven’t read anything by this author before but from the first line the story captivated me. The story unfolds nicely and for a quick read you get all you need for a story. Good character development and a good writing style. If you like your fatatsy reads I think it’s a good one to see if you want to read further.

Drowned Silence – Amy McNutty

This is a little short I picked up. Sorry can’t remember how I came by this but either free on Amazon or as a review copy.

This is a little gem to be honest. Not a long story so I will not ruin with a long review.

Great story and characters and there isn’t much else to say. Prefect for a train or those moments when you haven’t the time for a long story but enough to have a story.

More young adult than horror of a budding friendship from the main characters that begins with a school project. Kelsey is a mystery to Dylan from how she dresses to being allergic to water and not using or likening anything before the 19th century…
